Dr. Howard Farkas is a licensed clinical health psychologist who has been working and teaching in the field for over 20 years. Dr. Farkas is on the medical staff of Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and is on the faculty of Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. He also serves as a consultant to the hospital's Division of Cardiology, is on the advisory board of Segmedica, Inc., a medical market research firm, and has served as a business psychology consultant to several Fortune 500 companies. Dr. Farkas specializes in emotional eating, and helping people who have difficulty maintaining consistency with their motivation and follow-through in their efforts at behavioral change.
Dr. Kate Goldhaber completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Virginia in 2007. Prior to joining Chicago Behavioral Health, she was the Dr. John J.B. Morgan Fellow at the Family Institute and Center for Applied Psychological & Family Studies of Northwestern University. Dr. Goldhaber works with individuals, groups, couples, and families, and her clinical specialties include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, eating disorders, and clinical health psychology. Her current interests include the application of DBT to the treatment of Binge Eating Disorder and emotional eating.
Dawn Jackson Blatner is a registered and licensed dietitian. She is a National Media Spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association and has been quoted widely in local and national media. She has appeared on television programs such as Chicago Tonight,NBC Nightly News, Dateline, Today Show and CNN, and has a regular Healthy Eating segment on Chicago’s FOX News in the Morning.
